Speaking of proofs, in the past, it was common for sales representatives to deliver proof sheets, such as inkjet prints or comps produced by printing companies, or proofs from the actual machine, to customers. Additionally, when confirming corrections on a PDF, the process involved creating PDFs before and after the corrections, sending them to the customer for verification, and then proceeding to the printing stage.
